I am Sarah. This is me.
Photography has always been a passion in my life, from a very young age. I always knew it was something that I wanted to pursue, but was unsure of how to go about doing so.
I went to GRCC back in 2005-2007 to study photography with the great Jonathan Russell. He was an amazing teacher and studied under Ansel Adams, so I valued the knowledge he had to share with us. After a couple years of photography, I was unsure if I was cut out to continue on and make it a full time career. I was young and didn't know if starting my own business at the time was feasible. I then switched my major to Dental Hygiene and thought I'd never look back.
Fast forward to 8 years later. I am now a licensed dental hygienist and have been practicing for 3 years. I've recently come back to my first love of photography and am back to putting forth my efforts into becoming the best photographer I can be.
I've had the opportunity to shoot many different varieties in my years, some of which are newborn, maternity, family, senior portraits, couples, engagement, weddings, local bands, lifestyle. I'm back this time and with a vengeance and desire to continue to learn and try new things.
I am a newlywed myself, and give a lot of credit to those brides out there planning everything by themselves! It's quite time consuming!! But oh so worth it. Right? :)
